A very poorly written letter.  The word "regurgitation" comes to mind.  Can't anyone be original anymore?

Loved the line about Snyder firing most of the coaching staff.  That comment basically translates into, "I'm really pissed you didn't hire Gregg Williams."

Report: Eagles In The Lead for Tony Gonzalez
Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 22, 2009, 3:38 p.m. EDT

The Philadelphia Eagles rank ahead of the Atlanta Falcons in prospective haggling for Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Tony Gonzalez, according to Don Banks of SI.com.

Per the report, the Eagles have assigned a third-round value via a trade for Gonzalez, who wants out of Kansas City. However, the Chiefs are looking for a second-round draft pick.

And the Chiefs, Banks theorizes, may be sensitive to the predictable fallout of second-guessing if they unload Gonzalez at a discounted price.

We’ve heard separately from a league source that the Eagles and the Falcons are among the potential landing spots for Oklahoma State tight end Brandon Pettigrew, so both teams’ interest in upgrading at tight end seems fairly apparent.

It just seems to me that to use a pick on another QB would be a wasted one (especially if hes going to be a non Starter for 3 or 4 years)  we have greater needs at the moment and maybe by adding youth, strength and depth we will in return see a better return of results and better production from our Offense.

Agreed

JC deserves the right to show what he can do and like I said he will be judged on what he has done during the season at the end of the season.  JC has a point to prove and in a way he could well do that and still not be with us after next season, that choice could be his and not the FO's

I think there should be a qb competition WHOEVER the qb's maybe. The best PLAYER should WIN the starting title at every position.
Except 2007 when Todd Collins came in when JC was hurt. We've had a LOSING record with JC as starter. So does it really matter who the qb is? 8-8 is losing just as 5-11 is losing.

Sorry I don't think it should take trade rumors to light a fire under your ass. I would think JC (as well as the rest of the players)should've had something to prove since the day he made the team (made it to the NFL)Huh If he has a breakout season this year and decided to leave then I wouldn't be mad at the F.O. JC has a LOSING record as starter why would I tie up millions of dollars in someone who has yet to having a winning season and  lead the team into the playoffs? That would be crazy. Will JC settle for a contract that isn't Kurt Warner,Donovan Mc Nabb money? Imho even if he played lights out this year he  doesn't  deserve that kind of money for 1 good year out of 4. This would be up there with overpaying Deion,Bruce etc. except I could justify those decisions as they had SEVERAL years of  being successful and I would rather pay a proven winner over a 1 year wonder.

We do have holes to fill but QB isnt a priority, a need or a must we will need to bring fresh blood into our O line though and if we dont get a Stud lineman who can start from the off then maybe a LB or DE would be better off being our #13 pick.  Like you said lets see what the FO do, which ever way they decide to roll im going to be behind them.  Danny & Vinny are only Human and we all make mistakes, its not making them again that counts.

Keep the Faith.

If the O line is a putrid as everyone claims the wouldn't it take more than 1 stud rookie O lineman to right the ship???  I'd rather spend the 1st pick on the defense with Rey Maualuga or even Everette Brown.I could see them coming in and having an immediate impact. But I'll support whatever the F.O decides whether I agree with it or not.

We as human beings have made mistakes more than once in alot of instances before we got the message/lesson. As long as we continue to strive to become better is all we can realistically hope for.

Thanks Miss Dirty, I do not  know why you erased your post but you have every right to post your opinion
Grin I added more to the post then decided to delete it. I've gone on record saying Jason Campbell maybe nice guy and all. Imho he's not the answer at qb in the WCO. I find it utterly ridiculous to blame the o-line for a majority for JC's shortcomings. The qb can make the o line look just as bad as the o line can make a qb look bad.It works both ways.

However I'm not sold on Sanchez either.

Just a couple of quwstions,

How many picks have we in the Draft?

Do we need another QB as a back up?

Could have not said it any better.   Sanchez would be a waste of a pick

Jumpshot, on this site and in this forum EVERYONE had their own say and opinion. Not everyone here likes Snyder and not everyone here has to agree with not being concerned about the o-line and QB because of a team like Pittsburgh (which we are NOT). We, including myself, agree that the FO is trying to help the team win, but they haven't been doing it correctly. Furthermore, all I was saying earlier was that most teams in the NFL turn to the draft and get young blood and depth at needy spots, which eventually helps them to become competitive. This has happened for teams such as the Steelers, Falcons, Ravens, and it could happen for the Cheifs and other teams who have struggled. If the FO can realize this and implement it, we would be better off for the future.

Alex puuulease, you are newer to "this" site and "forum" than I ever will be so do not go there with me.

As a matter of fact when you were trying to jump off the bandwagon last season and go to another team,I boosted your new butt back on so do not come at me like that.

Opinions work both ways so stop flexing what you do not have....you all stated your disdain for Snyder and the FO and I stated my support for them...point blank!!..."your own say and opinion" and mine...I did not try to discourage your opinion but I did,in fact counter-reply with mine so do not try to hit me with the "this site" thing.

I give none about what board it is, people have points and counter points and all should be welcome....If you have a come back just come back wit' it but DO NOT try to tell me how to come...Mine was to the point that I am making and I would think that yours would follow suite without trying to tell me what to say or how to say it, whether it's for or against Snyder or the FO, for or against other teams in the league performances or players in the league as compared to ours...it doesn't matter as long as the point is made without disrespect and disrespect is not equal to disagreeing.

"Furthermore" we had a butt load of draft picks last season and got some well needed talent and will more than likely have a butt load more in seasons to come so I (myself not caring what anyone else does) am going to relax on the panic mode everytime a name comes up and let the FO do what it do while commenting like Dr. J want to comment while hoping that every other fan on trufan.com does the same with their own assertion and willingness to speak out about their team while not having to be dictated about their opinion or fear falling outside of the group think or cliques that most of these message boards become a part of after a while.

Jumpshot, there are quite a few false claims in your post. First off, I NEVER was in the position of "jumping off the bandwagon." Secondly, you say I'm a newer member YET I have a higher status on the forums and have posted MANY more times. Finally, I am very aware that people have their opinions and lean in particular directions, and I wasn't trying to DICTATE anyone's thoughts.

More to the point, it is obvious that owning and managing a team correctly is EXTREMELY difficult. I'm not sure I'd want to do it myself. I'm sure Danny and Vinny's choices with the team are made with good intentions, but over this current decade we've shot ourselves in the foot with washed-up FA signings and haven't placed enough emphasis on young talent. Based on that, I can't put my faith in them, even though I will ALWAYS support the TEAM. I also know that there comes a time when the players we have need to step up, and I firmly believe that unless that happens, we will continue to be mediocre. To conclude, I never said I was pressing the panic button. The draft hasn't even occured yet, Jumpshot, and we are a LONG way away from the season. Anyway, this is MY personal outlook on the team since I've started watching them. I am aware of their fine history, but those days are over. I also keep myself informed on legit sports sites and TV channels, so I know my S***, Jumpshot. I request that you not act like I don't.
