On the Redskins schedule

Looking at the 2009 redskins schedule What stands out to you?  what are you feelings on the Bye week placement? How do you feel about the first and Second half of the season?



Personally I think the first half of the season is favorable for us but the second half is going to be tough. I think the bye week is in a perfect spot for us and well help us. the things that stand out on this schedule for me is the Division games in the second half of the season on the road and that we play Dallas Twice in the second half. 

So what are your thought's

just count those Dallas games 2 wins.  they are going to be bad this year and again are overrated.  All that money for that staduim and no team to play in.

While I like the optimism and Cowgirl bashing Ty, it is concerning that all 3 of our NFC East games at home will be nationally televised. This team does not tend to do well on national TV, not to mention how tough and competitive the NFC East is. Personally, I could see us beating Dallas at least once, given they won't be much better than us. I HATE the fact that we have to play NYG in our opener AGAIN, and maybe we'll beat Philly at least once. We SHOULD beat St. Louis at home and Detroit on the road. We should also do well against the AFC West, except San Diego. I think we can beat New Orleans and Tampa Bay at home, but Atlanta and Carolina will be tough. All in all, we should be at least 9-7 or 8-8. With all the question marks and the tendency of this team to blow it any way they can (sorry to say), it's hard to tell. Our schedule is tough and I'm not sure the bye week comes at a good time.

I'm a little nervous about the so many division games down the stretch.

i think the bye comes at a good week somewhat in the middle of the season.  I am if you make the playoffs you have to play good teams anyways so why not in the season.  Just play what is in front of you and everything will work out.

Even though the bye week is earlier, it does look like our first half is easier than the second half. It's hard to tell, because you can't really predict which teams will be better and which won't. Then again there is the philosophy that anything can happen on ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. In the meantime, I can't really disagree with Yellow about having 4 NFC East games in the second half.
