I saw on redskins.com we re-signed Hall which was a smart move.

According to a friend, we released Springs, Suisham, and Golston. With Springs always hurt, that helps. I guess with how Suisham performed at the end of 2008 that's good too, but we have Dave Raynor, another half-ass kicker who was let go by KC as our only kicker now (I also think we should have kept Plackemeier instead of getting Zav atterbury who I believe has no experience). I'm also not completely sure we should have released Golston, mainly for depth reasons.

Finally, even though we all are rather doubtful about the Haynesworth signing, do you think now that Jason Taylor is recovering that he will produce more with Haynesworth in the middle?

If JT comes back and is fit Albert will make things better for him big style! and we will get more pressure up the middle, round the corner from all over!  That was never the problem with Alberts arrival.  Its the $$$ and the lack of options left now to get depth and fill othewr holes.

Dont be misled, the rest of the NFC East are sitting up and taking notice of what our D will be able to do now.

Yeah UK I think that Romo, Eli and McNabb already have headaches.

Suisham and Golston were tendered contracts meaning the team gets to match any offers.

I hope that we get a better kicker than Suisham. He has cost us in the past.

I agree Ldysknzfn, but I don't think there are really any kickers of value out there in FA. And it's ZAC Atterbury...forgive me for the typo.

I am sure I have had my fill of Suisham as well.  I have zero confidence in him to make a clutch kick...

I agree! There has to be a FA kicker out there that is better than Suisham.

No doubt about that. We can do better.

I think the FO is playing a little game here.  By making Suisam an offer if he gets taken we are compensated with an additional draft pick. Sean is better that some of the others out there.

Hunter Smith is still available, as we need a NFL punter as well...

Great point. We are hurting all around in the kicking game. Remember the days when that was never a problem in DC?
