Punting situation, Byron Westbrook, CFL, and new coaches

Hey, guys...I just read on redskins.com that we released Ryan Plackemeier. I'm not sure this was a smart move because even though he wasn't very good, he did get better towards the end of the season. We now have 2 kickers in Suisham and Raynor (an inconsistent kicker we got from KC), and a rookie punter we signed from Chicago named Zac Atterbury. Even if there is competition for kicker at camp this year, both these kickers aren't very good and now we have an inexperienced rookie punter. I hope we can develop him, but I hope he's not another Durant Brooks.
We re-signed Byron Westbrook, which I think is a good move because we need more youth in our secondary, especially at CB. I also kinda like the fact he's Brian Westbrook's brother and a division III product.
Finally, we've signed a coach and a player from the CFL, and got a new TE coach from Liberty University which is a BIBLE school in Virginia (no offense intended). The player is Dominique Dorsey, and he MIGHT give us more of a return game. I'm honestly unsure about the coaches because of the differences between CFL and NFL football and the fact that Liberty is a low-division school. I may be walking a thin line there, but I think these early moves are questionable. Feedback??

I hear ya, Mike. I guess I'm bound to follow this team 24/7...and with the way the FO has handled things and how the team has performed, I can't help but watch their moves like a hawk. I didn't in 2006 and look how we did.
