What would you think about trading down for more picks?  Two second rounders for that pick would be pretty tempting.

I think we should just keep it. Cerrato is terrible but he seems to do a good job in the first round. We are in desperate need of a few starters and I expect there will be an impact player available at 13.

I think Oher/Smith or Maualuga/Curry/Laurinaitis will be there and any of them will come right in and start.

If we can somehow use FA to get more picks or if we can use one of our later round picks to get more, that would help. At any rate, I wouldn't mind keeping 13 and getting o-line, D-line (which we need more than LB), or LB.

The Redskins have so many needs and with the fact that we have already thrown around a lot of money maybe Vinny should think about this.

I can see us doing it and I would not blame them.

I think at #13 pick there will be some great talent available, with players that could go straight into the team and perform from day one.  id rather get a Stud at #13 than get lower picks that just dont contribute straight away.

But heres the thing, Chris Horton was a later pick and he turned out ok lol  (so if you can guarantee we can do as well with our later picks then thats OK)

I know where you are comming from NC, with  maybe trading down because we are tight with funds but maybe we have enough to get that Stud at #13?

With whats happened during FA  im not going to try and 2nd guess Vinny & Danny anymore, anything is possible!

Under a different set of circumstances, I would applaud that move.  But, we're in a precarious position salary cap-wise, being just $7 million under it.  Thus, if we trade down for more picks, it would limit our ability to sign more than the four players we have for our draft picks.  It's probably just in our best interest to keep the pick, use it wisely and just ride out the storm of only having three more picks while our NFC East brethren gets stronger, quicker and younger with their full allotments.

not a bad idea but it all depends who still on the board at that point.  If Orakapo is still there then we take him but if a stud is not available then we trade down!!!!!  I see that everybody is on their mock drafts have us taking Smith from Alabama.  I think he has really hurt himself in this year draft with all the questionable decisions he has made!!!!  Do we want him?Huh

Mississippi State tackle Michael Oher would make the most sense with that pick.  Quite a few mocks have us doing just that.  He's got good feet and I can see him manning that right tackle spot for years.
