Right just a bit of a "Fantasy" question...

If you could have one Fantasy player that you could bring in to the Skins team who would it be? and why?  Remember its only fun, theres no salary cap or fA to contend with you can have anyone.....

Tom Brady? Albert Haynesworth? Larry Fitzgerald? Wes Welker? Payton Manning?

Who would you have?

Id like to see Fitz line up for us, give the oppersition something to think about..

I like this thread UK...

Larry Fitzgerald is a good one but I am gonna say Andre Johnson would be my fantasy player. This guy has all the tools that a big receiver needs and he seems to be unstoppable. He would be terrifying to other teams on the other side of Santana Moss.

Yeh MB  that sounds good too Andre Johnson  has got a lot of fans over here just think what kind of name he would have playing for a high profile team??

Maybe next year will be the  Texans year and they make it into post season??

Anyway i'll go with either Andre of Fitz, want to flip a coin MB?   Grin

Just the thought has excited me, ah well we can dream.....

Haloti Ngata- I can't even the imagine the damage he could do inside in a 4-3.
or
Phillip Rivers- best young qb in the NFL

Guys if I am going QB, I am going to go with a young gun who looks like he will be the real deal and will be getting me to at least one SB and probably more...

Matt Ryan's season was no fluke and he is only going to get better..He would be my fantasy QB for longevity's sake.

Matt Ryan was so impresive last season most people were waiting for him to make the "Rookie Mistake"  but he went from strengh to strengh

I still like Tom Brady tho......  Grin

I do like to see Payton doing his audibles and talking to his line, bit of a showman...

As long as we are fantasizing...my fantasy complement to Clinton Portis would be Jonathan Stewart of the Carolina Panthers.

The guy was a awesome back up to DeAngelo Williams and with CP pushing 30 hard and his body being as beat up as it is, I think that Stewart would be ready to replace him right when  CP is ready to be replaced.

Another good choice Mike,

along with some other Skins fans from over here we have been mulling over what  Darren Sproles would do for the Redskins in a simular role..

I think that a lot of our fans has an eye on Sproles, my only concern would be his size and how much of a bigger role in the back field would he be able to handle on top of handling the punt return duties.

He's pretty hot right now, I think that his asking price went up tremendously in that Colt's playoff game.

UK, I really think that we can afford anyone who we are willing to take a shot on. Although I am happy our F.O. is thinking a little better, compensation has not been a major problem with them in a past. I think  that (cap situation) is just a topic of conversation because Snyder has manipulated that process very well in past years and I think that he could do it now if there was that one or two players that he REALLY wanted.

The reasons I would take Rivers over some of the other great qb's you guys named are
1. His age 27 (entering his prime)
2. What he did in the 07/08 playoffs on a shredded knee
3. True team leader. Demands 100% effort from his teamates
4. 34 tds, 11 ints, 4009 yds. 105 qb rating in 08

If I could have any back to compliment Portis it would Reggie Bush. That would be awsome.

I have been a fan of Rivers since N.C. State, Zap he would definitely look good in the B&G but I am intrigued with the upside of Ryan also.
