here's a little game to get us to the FA signing period...I know that we all know our Redskins greats both young and old...old school and new school...and here's a way to get to know them a little better as well as show off your knowledge .

I'll start it off and maybe after the question is answered we can get others to do a "who am I"...


I was drafted in 1964 out of Arizona State where I played halfback and DB

I won the UPI NFL-NFC Rookie of the Year

I spent my entire career with the Washington Redskins

I still rank third all-time in Redskins’ history with 540 total points

I was elected to the Pro Bowl six times.

I hold team record for most career touchdowns with 90

That's an easy one.  This is #42, Charley Taylor.  A wide receiver who hails from Grand Prairie, Texas, and held most of the team's receiving records before someone by the name of Art Monk broke them!

I played basketball and was the Illinois High School discus champion, setting a state record

I was drafted in 1973 by the Cardinals out of Purdue

I made the Pro Bowl only once in my career although I made an all decade team

I only missed 4 games in my 16 year career.
