What good Skins fans This is the first installment of skins talk Off season.  There as Been some talk about Carlos rogers and His Supposed dis pleasure about D hall and his lack of playing time down the stretch. Speculation is that he is wanting out of D.C. if Mr hall is kept.   IMO I don't see the skins letting Rogers go at all and I think Mr Rogers displeasure was warrented due to his great play all season long, even though he had the drop's on some Key INT's

What do you think about this Due you see rogers leaving?  Is it a Must that we keep D. Hall? Does this Speculation even hold water at all?

I think this is all speculation. I really can't see him going anywhere but stranger things have happened. IMHO regardless of what happens we need to keep D. hall to keep the Depth on D and I think Rogers and Hall should be starters. Springs can be moved around in nickle and Dime. So what are your thoughts it's always nice to hear from you guys

I think that it is something to it Hitman, I like Carlos Rogers but I think that he fell out of grace with Blache somwhere along the road. With only 4 draft choices available to us this season, I think that Rogers is a guy who may bring us a decent one.

I really like D. Hall and I think that he and Springs are a formidable pair but when Springs pulls off one of his injury acts next season, we may be left short in some games.

Keeping Hall is a must.  He had 2 picks in his first 3 games, which is more than Carlos has had in 2 season.  He lacks some in deep cover but is a pro bowler for a reason.

Carlos is a good corner but he drops way too many balls that should be caught.  I was in disbelief when he actually caught one in the last game.  Teams are not afraid to test him because he does not have the big threat ability - he may break up the pass but he won't be intercepting many of their passes - that is how the other teams feel anyway.

While I think Carlos would be good on the other side of Hall, starting, I think he will be shopped.  If we keep Springs, Rogers will go.  We need draft picks more than we need Carlos backing up either Hall or Springs.  Even though Springs can move to safety, we are set at safety and don't need him there.  Springs is old and gets hurt more often but is still a better corner than Carlos, so I would not be surprised to see him stay and Rogers leave.

That is, if we resign Hall and it is not certain that we will.

I really like the way Hall played welltowards the end of the year.  IMO you cannot have enough DB's but that being said we cannot please everyone.  Shop Rogers and maybe get a decent draft pick or keep him and play more of a rotating position and play the players that match up for that particular week.

Right on with keeping Hall and Carlos not getting INTs, CT. IMO, I think Springs should go due to his injury history and age. I think if we have Hall and Carlos along with Horton and Landry, that's a pretty good secondary. In regards to depth and rotation, we could possibly have Doughty and Moore rotate at safety but I don't know about Smoot and Tryon at CB. Depth is an issue at DB and I wouldn't be surprised if we use the draft or FA to build depth at this position. However, if we have 2 ballhogs in Horton and Hall and 2 coverage guys in Carlos and Landry, I think that would be a good starting secondary in 2009.

That is, if we resign Hall and it is not certain that we will.

If it's not a second rounder for los I'm not sure we should give him up. What do you guys think is fair market value?

I answered Mike Bass' poll, but I think we should get a 2nd for Carlos.  He is a former #9 pick and was a good shut down corner at the beginning of the season.  His biggest problem is that he can't catch the ball, although he will go somewhere else and suddenly learn, I am sure.
