I am kind of torn with what I think the FO should do here.  We have several positions of need, most notably both OL and DL.  I am leaning toward FA to fix our DL and fix the OL through the draft.  We can eke another season out of most of our line, perhaps replacing Kendall with Rinehart.  My line would look like Samuels, Rinehart, Rabach, Thomas and Heyer.  Draft another guard this year, and center and LT will be needed the following.

Our DL needs immediate improvement - our secondary was the reason the Def. was in the top 5.  Part of the reason the soft coverage that they go into in the 4th quarter doesn't work is because there is no pass rush.  Give the QB all day to throw and he will take the underneath stuff all day.  It moves the chains  and in close games gets them into winning field goal range.  Getting a pass rush is essential for this defense.

I also think we should look at picking up a FA punter.  The one I have my eye on is the guy from Oakland, although they probably won't let him go.  There are a handful of ESTABLISHED kickers in FA this year too.  Wouldn't hurt to take a glance at them either.

I think that with the 13th overall pick I would go with either a DT or a LB, I would not waste that pick on a O-linemen unless there's a superlineman out there somewhere in the draft. I just think we can get a pretty good linemen with our third round pick, maybe a step under a first round pick but I do no think that it will be a major difference. But I agree, the main focus should be on the O-line, hopefully we will acquire more picks and we can add even more focus there.

CT, Plackemeir has kinda grown on me, He did very well  in placing the ball inside the 20 and a lot of of times, inside the 10. I think that he should brought back, at least  to compete for the job.

Can Suisham.  Draft Oline and Dline.  Look to draft a RB if possible and trade Betts and Rogers.

I think Plackemeir should be given competition as well.  When he was good, he was good, but when he was off, he was really off.  My main thing in looking for a new punter was getting one that can be consistent.  Perhaps Plack can be consistent through the pre-season.  If so, maybe we have our man.  I would definitely get rid of Suisham and grab Rob Bironas or something.
