Sorry guys I've been out on vacation and I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.  Well the end of the road has come and sadly it didn't come with a win. I though the Offense Kept fight hard but I also felt that the redskins didn't make any second half adjustments and the 49ers did in the second half.  I felt that the D also got hung out to dry in the 3rd but just could muster up the Pressure needed to get the stop to win the game.

I have to say that I am sad that we didn't when this game I felt we had played so well and that fumble in the beginning of the 3rd to go up big was huge and changed the game. 8-8 really isn't bad and I think this team is what it is. Yes we have at least 4 wins (STL rams,Dallas Cowterds, cinci, and yesterdays game)that we should have and if the proper adjustments are made we win those games.

I thing Zorn will learn from this and we will get better we have a lot of talent in key areas and if we can get some Oline guys and d line guys we are going to be even better. We just need our draft picks to step up and play next year. well It's been fun and i'll be looking forward to next season.  He How bout them Cowterds 44-6  I love it. It could have happened to a better team

I predicted we'd go 8-8, but the fact we started out 6-2 and finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs sucks in my opinion. We need to rebuild the o-line, find some kind of pass rush for the d-line, and it probably wouldn't hurt to go after a tall WR, an LB, or some more DBs. With the few picks we have, we should make moves in FA but wise ones. We also need to replace Suisham.

I've been blaming the owners and management personnel about a lot, but I know there is really nothing we can do about it as fans. It's tough to be in this spot though, because it appears as if the team is in a near downhill spiral. I ALSO know that this team's troubles are NOT completely on their shoulders, because it's apparent and disturbing how the players on this team (MANY of them experienced veterans) seem to lack the heart and drive needed to win games. If we came out focussed against teams like the Rams and Bengals, we would have won and had a shot at the post-season this year. HELL...if a fanbase like ours has more heart, then why stick with this team? I'm NOT saying we should jump ship and I'll always be loyal to this team, but with the way things are looking now, I bet many people are asking the same question.

I could agree more alex we just need to be WISE in our FA pick ups Tighting up the o-line and D line is a must. You know  was pretty Disappointed about the finish too. It would have been nice to make the playoffs and we should have. but in the same token there are some guys on this team that just are not fully focused on the task at hand. I would say that we are on a downward Spiral I think the 10  years before gibbs return were downward spiral years. When Gibbs returned we started to get stable and are going up slowly,I think this team and organization has come a long way and Danny boy in the beginning had alot to learn. I think Vinny has one more year and it's this up and coming 09 season to get it right our He's Toast.  I think in the long run we will be alot better next year and for the years to come I see a positive out look for the team and the redskins organization
