Well hopefully the team can get back on track and have a good week of practice coming up. I'll be interested to see how the Saints fare against the Bucs this year. Hopefully Springs can get back because Brees is gonna throw that ball all over the place and show Jason how it's done. Being at home is going to be a big advantage so we need to use it and come out with a win. If we lose this one that will turn the Cardinals game into a must win since that will crush our NFC record.

going to resist predicting this one untill i watch the Saints V Buccs, but on paper i like our D against their O, the key could however be our passing game, if it gets on track we should win.

Well the Saints looked pretty sharp yesterday. Brees went about 340 with 3 touchdowns and Bush had about 160 combined yardage with a td. If we score 17 points we will lose. As i expected Shockey is looking like he is going to have a bounce back year. I read somewhere during the offseason that the Saints have had more pass attempts to the te position over the past two years than any other team. That's interesting to me considering they haven't had a great tight end. Plus Payton was Shockey's offensive coach during his rookie season which was his best IMO. We are going to need Springs and Smoot at tip top shape if we can get them there.

Brees looked very good yesterday...It will be tough but if the offense gets going early and converts third downs I think they get the win!

We are going to have to get pressure on Brees, if not Shockey and Colston are going to give us trouble next week.

I would add to that saying we need FRONT 4 pressure. We actually got some pressure on Eli with some good blitzes but to really be good, especially against someone the caliber of Breed, I think we need to get to him going 4 on 5 up front. I've been very critical of Griffin the last couple years but I thought he actually played well last Thursday.

I don't know what to say about this game. I didn't see the Bucs/Saints..I watched the Philly/Rams and Cowboys/Browns. I was surprised at some of the upsets yesterday. So that goes to show you there are no dominating teams anymore..no more Steel Curtains...and such. It's anybody's game these days.

Well I say what Skins12th brought up the other day. Since Jason has some problems with the tempo of the WCO offense at this point, he needs to play from shotguns more often to get some points on the board. If we can score 21 + points and our D can keep them to 2 TD's we will win this.

I watched the Saints/Bucs game. Both teams looked a lot better than we did vs the Giants. But if our offense can get it in gear we have a chance. The Fed Ex crowd will help, but if we play the same way this week we will be 0-2.

The O MUST MUST MUST step up this week. They've had a few days to look at game film and refine/fine tune things that were trouble spots. I'm still not sold on the O Line being where it needs to be, but there are bright spots for sure. The O Coordinator needs to involve Cooley more on the receiving end. Sure, he can pass block with the best of them, but he can also RECEIVE with the best of them as well. So far as Reggie Bush is concerned, I think that the D should be able to stop him, although there is nervousness where the Secondary is concerned. I watched the N.O. v. Tampa game for 2 reasons......1. To scout our next opponent and 2. I really can't stand the cowpies. Especially Captain Ego aka t.o. HAIL VICTORY!

Hopefuly Jason Taylor will be fully fitt and with him and Carter comming of the ends we will get pressure on Brees. but we must watch Bush, i know he has not been the superstar many thought he woudl be but ball in hand he is a joy to watch. we need to close him down.
