While driving around today, I was thinking about our two rookie wide receivers and how I so wanted a big receiver for the last few years.

In the past I would look at  young receivers like Andre Johnson from the Houston Texans and be like DANG (well not exactly that word) if we had this guy, he would KILL DB’s with his size and OWN the red zone with his strength. Then I salivated about getting Calvin Johnson, again, “DANG”, if we could get a guy with that size, speed and athleticism he would be able to match any DB speed-wise and out muscle them on the deep routes.

On the drive today I had the HUGEST smile on my face just thinking that NOW we have both these type of receivers and how it is going to be so difficult for any team to, defensively match what they can do on the field. I know that they are young and it MAY take some time for it to totally click but I see something crazy special happening with these two guys.

I think that we should be braced for a Superbowl as we match position talents like we did with these guys with guys like Cooley, Portis, Sellers, Samuels ..etc.etc.

I totally agree that they are gonna be two good ones...Can't wait to see them in the red zone...I think it was just last week when S. Moss compared Kelly to Andre Johnson ...I really hope he is right!!!

I heard a rumor that Kelly is in Alabama getting his knees checked.  If that is true then he is with Dr. James Andrews I believe.  You don't pay to go see Andrews unless it is serious......
