There was an interview on Comcast today w/ Cp being interviewed by Kelly Johnson and Portis opened about some very serious issues that none of us knew about.

First of all He lost his Grandmother last year which he said devastated him. Then He lost one of his best friends mothers. And on top of all that he lost a child. His girlfriend was pregnant with his first child and she suffered a miscarriage on mothers day. Then of course he lost Sean.

Despite all of these things he still put the load on his shoulder and led us to the playoffs. This really tells us all a lot about CP. I can't even imagine the pain he must have been feeling. Thank you so much CP for all you do.

Thankfully he had a child earlier this year and it is healthy. He is very proud to be a parent.

I saw this on Comcast...Very sad indeed...I think the time he missed during OTAs was when his son was born...

At the end of last year Portis spoke how Gibbs taught them how to be men.  With all the tragedy CP
experienced last year I get the feeling Gibbs probably helped him a lot.  Recently I heard that CP
had matured.  With what he went through will either break you or cause you to be stronger.   Wish
nothing but success on the field and off for Portis this year.

I saw the interview last night, very touching. Makes my training camp attendance today even more special. I was able to get a autograph from Mr. CP and a few pictures of him that I will post shortly. I told him I love him, he replied back and said I love you too. Awwwww.
