Thats right folks, 28 Home Runs in the FIRST round for Josh Hamilton and the Yankees crowd IN Yankees stadium was cheering his name!  WOW!
For people who don't know Josh Hamilton he is a person who was chosen #1 in the majors in 1999 by the Devil Rays.He was considered a blue chip prospect until addiction derailed his career in 2001.Hamilton's struggles with drugs and alcohol are well documented. He finally got clean after being confronted by his grandmother, Mary Holt. For him to do what he did tonight was just remarkable. From someone who battled addiction to hitting in the Home run derby at Yankee Stadium and having everybody on their feet is just phenominal.Josh Hamilton is a type of player who I want my kids to idolize. It just proves that we are never out of the ball game as long as we fight in what we believe in.

Well said HogWild.  I've been following Josh Hamilton's career since he was in the minor leagues and remember when his struggles with crack addiction become reported nationwide.

He has made a remarkable recovery through his faith.  I find it amazing that he still travels with a long time family friend at his side because he still doesn't trust himself.

That was crucial last night.  Chicks and BigMike dig the long ball.
