2. BRIAN MITCHELL
Washington Redskins, 1990-1999; Philadelphia Eagles, 2000-2002; New York Giants, 2003

About him: The godfather of kick returners, Mitchell has the most kickoff returns (607) and punt returns (463) in NFL history. A college QB who never returned a kick at Southwestern Louisiana, his endurance returning kicks for 14 years was unusual, and his record of 1,070 combined kick returns is 359 more than Glyn Milburn, second on the all-time list. Mitchell holds the mark for most combined kick-return TDs (13) and is second to Jerry Rice in career all-purpose yards (23,330). He also holds the marks for most punt-return yardage (4,999) and kickoff-return yardage (14,014). A Pro Bowler and a member of the all-pro first team in 1995, Mitchell led the league in all-purpose yards four times.

Notable: Six of Mitchell's 13 return TDs either tied the game or gave his team the lead.

Adam "Pacman" Jones gets #5 in today's KO returner voting  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy....Now how did that happen when he has been suspended more than he has played?
