You're right what's on paper really does not mean too much and if I hadn't seen what they are able to accomplish on the field it may have me less worried about their team. I think that they have shown plenty of respect to their character players by signing Barber and (Newman was it?) to very lucrative contracts. Everyone on every team is not going to be pleased with their contract and it looks like it is going to be Glenn in Dallas' case.
IMO, it just doesn't look like it is as much controversy in Texas as we may want it to be. .

Glenn and Jones had discussions over a proposed split contract that would reduce Glenn's salary from $1.74 million to $500,000 should he reinjure his surgically repaired right knee.
