I just want to write something about kids.Kids are the greatest joy in our lives. I know that mine have changed my lives for the best. My kids are the reason that I get up in the morning and go to work and live my life to the fullest. I have always tried to be the best Dad that I can be. Even though I haven't seen my 3 oldest in 10 years, there isn't a day that they don't cross my mind. I don't get to talk or see them because of my ex-wife but I do see pictures. So I know that they are healthy and thank God athletic. Then I got my 4 lil' ones her living with my wife and I. They sure keep us on our feet. It is an adventure with them every day. My 8-year old going on 18.She loves to argue for everything. She is very strong minded and that is all I ask for my kids to be. My boys are every Dads' dream. They love sports and the competition. Every lil' yhing they do has to be a competition. From eating to who finishes using the bathroom, there has to be a winner and loser. I enjoyed being there head coach this year in T-Ball.We finished with one loss this year and we came home with the boys dissapointed after that loss. I told them that everyone loses and the oldest one says,'not the Jaime boyz dad!' There I knew that I am going to have some very great athletes in the future.
So I just want to thank all our kids for teaching us parents how to be responsible for everything we do. Without you kids life would be boring as hell. So again thank you kids!!

This IS a beautiful post, I agree.   Grin  I love my son more than life itself and couldn't imagine my life without him.  Being adopted and having adopted my son, I think I take it a step further at knowing how precious it is to have a child.  I thank God every day I wasn't aborted and that my son wasn't, either.

My dad once told me his greatest regret in life was not having more children (adopting).  He told me to never have that regret.  If I can ever convert Seahawks boy to Redskinism, I believe we'd make beautiful children.  Kidding, of course.  I hope he and I are able to have a child together and that he/she is born bleeding burgundy and gold, just like Mama.  Smiley

I admire you.  I can't imagine how difficult it would be to be so far away from my children.  But your children know you love them, and one day as adults, you'll be able to see them more often and show them that love.  Smiley  We have some GREAT parents on this site, which goes to show the heart and soul of this great group.  Smiley  WE ROCK.  Smiley
