Player The latest Word is ...

Terry Glenn, WR
Dallas Cowboys Declining to sign waiver May 29: The Star-Telegram reports the Cowboys have asked Glenn to sign a $500,000 injury settlement -- relieving them of any further obligation if he is sidelined for the season due to his surgically repaired right knee. So far, Glenn has declined to sign the waiver and has not been allowed to participate in OTAs the past two weeks. If Glenn was injured without the waiver, the team would be on the hook for his entire 2008 salary of $1.74 million .

Player The latest Word is ...

Greg Ellis, DE
Dallas Cowboys Ellis upset with role May 29: Ellis will not participate in the last day of OTAs because he's upset with his repetitions being reduced in practice, according to The Dallas Morning News. The Cowboys have told Ellis his practice time would be reduced to give Anthony Spencer more time on the field. Coach Wade Phillips said Ellis remains the starter, and the Cowboys have told Ellis they don't want to wear him down in May, but Ellis doesn't trust the team's motives

Simone comments: It may so appear that Dallas may trade Ellis for Jason Taylor

I saw something about an Ellis for Taylor swap as well.  It almost makes good sense for both teams.

You're right B, that would reunite brother-in-laws Taylor and Zach Thomas who've played well off each other in Miami. Also Parcell is trying to soop up every Dallas castoff that he can get in Miami, so I can see that happening.

Parcells has really only been taking Dallas players he brought in to Dallas, or players he really liked, he's not just grabbing any old Dallas castaway.  As far as Taylor and Ellis goes, I really doubt Parcells who has proven time and time again he can build a team, is going to trade age for age (it makes no sense), Miami is in a rebuilding process and I would be extremely surprised to see anything but a draft pick or young veteran be traded to Miami for Taylor.

Its a forum Mike, I am not following you.  I said nothing hostile only had a difference of opinion, I also had a differing opinion than Simone and Blitz, yet I doubt either one of them believes I am playing games with them, really not that big of a deal.
