MIAMI (AP) — Prosecutors in Miami say a fifth person has been charged in the slaying of Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor.
Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office spokesman Ed Griffith said Wednesday that 16-year-old Timothy Brown is charged with first-degree murder under a sealed warrant.

Brown is being held in Lee County. It's not immediately known when he'll be transferred to Miami-Dade County to face the charge.

The 24-year-old Taylor died of massive blood loss after he was shot at his Miami-area home during a botched robbery. Trial for the four Fort Myers-area suspects is currently scheduled for Aug. 24.

This is very sad. A 16 year old caught up in all of this. He should have is whole life in front of him, but now he may spend it in jail. In the end Sean Taylor is dead and everyone is sad.

And the beat goes on.  The first of many plea bargains to come in this case.  You run a higher risk these days of a criminal getting LESS time if they go before a jury...ridiculous!  My heart goes out to Sean's parents, siblings and daughter.  They are the ones left to suffer.  Their lives will never be the same.  They were given a life sentence by these young mens' actions.  A daughter must grow up w/o her father.  These "kids" lives are ruined along w/their families lives as well.  But they won't suffer to the degree that Sean's family will.  It will NEVER be over for the Taylors. Cry Sad

Yeah well as sad as it is for this young kid to be caught up in all of this, I hope he and the others get what they deserve! Believe me once in jail I'm sure the other inmates will want their young butts for themselves, and I hope they get them!
