WT: Top Five Available Pass-Rushers for Redskins

1. Derrick Harvey, Florida:  Assuming Chris Long and Vernon Gholston will be off the board by the 21st pick, Harvey had 19½ sacks in his in final 27 college games.

2. Phillip Merling, Clemson:  A big guy (6-5, 270) whose numbers (27 tackles for lost yardage) suggest he's good against the run. Had 12 sacks in three years.

3. Calais Campbell, Miami:  Extremely productive the last two seasons ¿ 134 tackles, 33 tackles for lost yardage and 16.5 sacks. At 6-7, there are questions how well he can play the run.

4. Lawrence Jackson, Southern Cal:  Might be on the board in the second round if the Redskins opt to go with a receiver at No. 21. A four-year starter, he had 30½ sacks in 52 games for the Trojans.

5. Chris Ellis, Virginia Tech:   Could be option in the second or fourth rounds. Posted 13 sacks in last two seasons. A bunch of personal foul penalties serve as red flag for teams.

I've always liked Harvey but Campbell is still the guy that I want to be a Redskin.

As much as I want Campbell, I do not think that the team is going to go with a DE early in the draft...I'm thinking either a DT,WR or a corner.
