Let me introduce myself here for those who don’t know me. I am Amy, Skinslove, The Future Mrs. Landry.

I have planned some bargates this offseason to bring us Redskins fans together. Since we can't be tailgating together right now...we call it a BarGate. We have had 2 successful events, and I am in the midst of planning a third one. I would like this one to happen in Maryland, since the previous 2 have been in Va. I would like to get as many of us out there as possible. I will have some cigar girls show up, possibly with some stoggies.

I need some options of a place where we can get a little rowdy, show up in Skins gear, and just be around family. There also needs to be hotels relatively close by for out of towners like I am for this particular bargate. This bargate is going to be open to all message boards, and I hope that we can get everyone to get out and party.

I was also thinking that if everyone threw in a couple of dollars we could donate to the Sean Taylor memorial fund, or something for Darrel Green. Just a thought…will think more about that later on.

Thoughts, ideas, comments??

♥ you all.

Dave & Buster's is an idea.  Jasper's in Greenbelt?  LaVar Arrington's restaurant?

This will be the 3rd one, skinslove???

I missed one then.

Damn.

I was at the BarGate back in February at On the Boarder in Tyson's Corner, VA and we had a great time.

We had around 30 people there and we took over the bar area. This is a great way to hangout with fellow Skins fans in the off-season.

I know of a couple of great places in Frederick to do this, but that would be too far away for most, so I will look around for some place close to the beltway.

Well, we have already done D&B for the ES/RR off-season get-together.

Arrington’s restaurant sounds good, but with all the murders that has happened around the Cap Center Shopping Mall I would think that most of us would not feel comfortable being there at night.

Jasper's I have not heard of.

Do they have a web addy???

Don't forget how we all went nuts when we learned while there that Jim Zorn had been hired, and also rioted when that New York sports fan started heckling us.

Yeah, that was great that we all were together to witness history when Jim Zorn was announced as our new head coach. I was ready to bitch-slap that Giants fan but when I told him to STFU as I was walking towards him he high-tailed it out the front door.

Typical Giants WIMP!!!

It's not scary at Lavars place....   that's funny.

I'd love to do it there, perhaps we could see to it that Lavar is present to sign autographs and take pictures.

Dont worry Amy - we'll protect you from the scary folks.   Cheesy

Here are two great places to have the BarGate.

They are located in Bethesda.

http://www.thebarkingdogonline.com/

http://www.flanagansharpandfiddle.com/

These places are known to be Redskins bars also. Both are close to hotels and parking garages

The Barking dog is only 1 1/2 blocks from Metro.

No one said that Lavar's place was scary, just the area around it.

There have been many murders around there recently. If I were to go there at night, I would be packing my .357.

Yeah, the crime rate is pretty bad in that area.  I guess I'm used to it.

depends on what you mean by "around" ... the shopping / hotel area where it is located is fine, as it is located in the business district/office park which is immediately adjacent to Redskins game day satellite parking.

but if you just want to be a B&G BadAss, i'll be happy to direct you and your weapon of choice to the aforementioned area of increased violence - which is 3 miles away.

What about the Greene Turtle in Germantown? They also have one in DC at the Verizon C., Laurel, pretty much all over Maryland.  http://www.greeneturtle.com/locations.php
