I think that the last of the receiver slot will be filled by one of these three players when all is said and done in the offseason. Right now because of Espy's injury, Mix's size and how he played on special teams last season and McMullens size and his previous experience in the west coast offense that the front runners would be Mix and McMullen with the winner being Mix....

Anthony Mix | #19 | WR
Washington Redskins
Height: 6-5   Weight: 235   Age: 25
Born: 1/20/1983 Bay Minette , AL
College: Auburn
Experience: 2nd season

Billy McMullen | #12 | WR
Washington Redskins
Height: 6-4   Weight: 215   Age: 27
Born: 3/8/1980 Richmond , VA
College: Virginia
Experience: 4th season

Mike Espy | #11 | WR
Washington Redskins
Height: 5-11   Weight: 195   Age: 25
Born: 11/29/1982 Jackson , MS
College: Mississippi
Experience: 2nd season

Neither have any significant NFL stats right now but things may change for one given the right chance

Thoughts...

Espy has been hurt since he was added to the team.  I don't think he is durable enough.

I am high on Mix, but only because all my Giants friends are mad at me that we signed him.  I would like to see what he can do when given an opportunity to play, especially with his old college QB throwing.  He never got the chance to play at WR for us yet alot of people say he can't cut it.  They base that opinion on what, exactly?  He was great on teams too so that alone should keep him here.

I think that Mix's  practice work ethic was in question when he was in college but from what I have read, he worked hard for the Giants and I know that he made big plays for us on special teams so I think that he should get a shot. I just hope that after he gets that shot that he does not take it for granted and regress back to the same habits.
