You got that right HH...I like ES a lot but those guys has to do something about all the "you're stupid" qoutes...it takes away from the site...maybe deleting the quote and warning th poster would help.

As one of the original members of ES, I have seen ES grow from just a couple hundred members to the day the Redskins bought it to present day, and I am not happy in the direction ES is going.

After the "merger" it has gained many new members, not all "extreme" fans either. Too many negative posters and too many childish threads and posts. I can see why Om and TarHog left. The way it is going, it might not be long before I will just stop logging on over there myself.

That will be a very sad day.  Cry

I started out on ES and post there very infrequently.  I hang out in the Tailgate more than anything.  Eventually I became regular poster on RedskinsWarpath.com.  There's generally very good discussions that go on over there.

It would be great if this forum was more active.  Although, I have to say, the pinkish and blue color scheme has got to go.   Smiley

I agree with you LB,  I would like for the forum to be more active here also...I think that because the blogs are on the front page that people are using it as the forum would be used if members knew where it was at....I think that  a lot of members join looking for this type of forum but when they do not see it we never see them again.

I think that members like you, skins44 and others can jump start the forum.

I'm a former ES faithfull member.  So many great members have left.  I was member #632 and made some great friendships when is a smaller community.  SF44 (and yes even Halter) is a prime example of some great Skins fans that have had the pleasure of getting to know.  Like others I post very little there now.

Will try and do my part getting this place going.

I would actually like to see more blogs.  Most of the posts there are just reposts of Skins news and articles.  I don't think I have seen a real blog other than stwasm.  No offense to anyone that posts articles, but I think I would be really interested in hearing other opinions and views in a format they can be more expressive in than a forum post.  I have a lot of stuff to say too but most of it isn't Skins related and would probably be better served in my own blog on Wordpress, if I ever get around to doing it.

I would like to see these forums get a little more active too - I would probably post more Smiley

I totally agree...I post articles  in the blog section because that is the only place people give responses at and the forum is not even viewed a lot...I think that the most members viewed on the forum in one day is like 5 and the average is less than 1

I think that I am going to follow your suggestion and start posting those type of articles and rumors here.

I'm an ES refugee, too.  It has become negative and full of homers who get angry when people criticize the Redskins -- even if that criticism is warranted.  I've even had a couple of members go so far as to crack jokes about my dying father and call me a "stalker" because of my pictures of the cheerleaders.  I'm thinking about not posting there anymore and just keep it here.  Hopefully, my cheerleader and other pics will be appreciated.

It's good to see so much traffic here in the forums.  I must be asleep at the wheel.   MB had to alert me to what is going on in here.  LOL.  I'm glad to see the traffic and will try to do some things to address the concerns.  We are anticipating a few changes over the next 2 weeks.  I've reviewed the prototype "new site features" and I think all of you guys will be happy.  Good stuff coming your way!

I will follow wherever you and you pic go.  Grin

Can't believe anyone would be so classless as to crack jokes about your father.  Probably
good thing I didn't see it or would have beened banned.

Like you, I rarely post there anymore.  Miss the old ES.  On the flip side glad found this site
and Redskin-Roadtrips.

This site and RR have become the new homes for my photos.  And I've found that the people here are OUTSTANDING!
